In this first unit we will learn to read: the, I, see, a, and cat. We will practice recognizing, spelling, and writing the words. We will use flashcards, a game, and an emergent reader to practice the words. Students will be given materials to practice the words at home. This class is for beginning readers who know their letters and are ready to learn some words!
