Personal finance is a must-have for all children in order for them to be successful as adults. In addition to basic money management essentials, students will also learn how to manage the risks and distractions this world will throw at their plans. The culminating project will be a real-life budgeting scenario-Planning a Trip With a Budget, which the students will find out whether or not they will make it in the real world with the scenario they are given and with the tools they have...
Students will improve their understanding of personal finance and how it directly relates to them now or in the future and apply that knowledge.
I have been teaching personal finance in high schools for 20 years.

A notebook, writing utensil, and calculator are required for this class. Any handout or worksheet will be provided for the students before each class in the classroom. Kahoot will be used as a review game tool.
