In this one time class we will practice reading short vowel A sound words together. After we read the words individually, we will put them together into short sentences. Throughout class we will learn the rules to short vowel a so we can read any short vowel a CVC word. We will practice taking turns reading and writing the words so the information will stay in our minds long term. I have been teaching children for over 20 years and have a degree in Dance and English. We will move and learn while having fun! My performing credits include Touring the World with Broadway’s Evita, Sesame Street Live, and performing in Disney World Theme Parks as well as regional theatres for children and adults alike. It is extra fun to take class from the real life Pinkalicious, Little Red Riding Hood and Dorothy! I look forward to meeting your student and learning through play.
