What will be taught?
This self-paced course provides an in-depth exploration of Shakespeare’s greatest tragedies—"Hamlet," "Macbeth," "King Lear," "Romeo and Juliet," and "Othello." Through guided reading, literary analysis, and engaging cross-curricular projects, students will strengthen critical thinking, writing, and comprehension skills essential for academic success.

What topics will be covered?
Students will analyze Shakespeare’s timeless themes, including ambition, fate, power, love, and betrayal, while studying:

Hamlet – Revenge, madness, existentialism, and soliloquies.
Macbeth – Ambition, power, fate vs. free will, and the supernatural.
King Lear – Family, loyalty, justice, and human nature.
Romeo and Juliet – Love, fate, family conflict, and personal choices.
