"Hamlet" – Character analysis, themes of revenge and madness, historical context, and soliloquies. "Macbeth" – Ambition, power, fate vs. free will, and the supernatural elements. "King Lear" – Familial relationships, loyalty, madness, and justice. "Romeo and Juliet" – Love, conflict, fate, and the impact of family dynamics. "Othello" – Jealousy, race, manipulation, and trust. 5. Interpret figurative language:
- Identify and analyze Shakespeare’s use of figurative language, including metaphors, similes, and personification, and explain their meaning and contribution to the themes and tone of the plays.
6. Conduct research projects:

I started my path to teaching in college when I volunteered with AmeriCorps. I went on to teach in traditional public schools after I completed my M.Ed. and received my teaching license, but I quickly learned the school environment was not the ideal setting for myself or my child. That is when I transitioned to homeschooling and teaching online. I have been teaching writing course for fifteen years. My primary objective in each class is to help the learners feel comfortable and gain confidence in their writing.
