Learning Objectives: Demonstrate how to properly shape and mold clay into a pinch pot. Learn the importance of scoring and slipping to attach clay pieces together. Explore creativity in designing different animal shapes. Demonstrate the ability to roll out even coils of clay to build their sculptures. Discuss how to create different shapes and textures using the coil technique. Demonstrate how to roll out a flat slab of clay and manipulate it to create different forms. Demonstrate the ability to join different slabs together using scoring and slipping. Ability to incorporate texture and decoration into their sculptures.
