In this 4 day class, the kids will be introduced to geology as they join me on an expedition of Earth's layers. I use visual graphics such as photos, slideshows, etc so that the kids can see examples of the concepts we are learning about in class. I like to ask the kids questions about our class topics, and I encourage them to share their knowledge of the topics because that is how we learn. Hi, I'm Miss Robyn, and I have taught kids of all ages as a public school teacher, private home school instructor, and as a 4-H leader. I enjoy sharing my interests which include: science, reading, gardening, hiking, cooking & baking, and nature. Since October 2020, I have taught with Outschool, and I have met a lot of interesting, fun kids! I do have a teacher's certificate for the state of Texas.

We will be using 3%hydrogen peroxide , yeast, dish soap, Starburst candies, scissors, salt, kitchen shears or kitchen knife, and warm water. Please see the class supply list that is posted in the classroom as a PDF.
