This is tutoring for the Math section of the SAT. We will go over techniques and skills that will help save time and succeed on the SAT. Below is a sample schedule. Once I meet the student and discuss their goals with them, we will adjust the content and the schedule accordingly. Week 1: Intro to the Math section Week 2: Review of fundamentals Week 3: Algebra Week 4: More algebra techniques Week 5: Advanced arithmetic Week 6: Functions and graphs Week 7: geometry Week 8: grid-ins Students will need to be sure they have an approved calculator. They will also need to purchase The Princeton Review Book for the SAT. We will be using it for practice and it comes with several practice tests. I also recommend that students take at least one practice exam before we start our tutoring.
