ATTENTION: Reading in Russian prior to the class is required. Please make sure students have basic vocabulary and grammar knowledge prior to this class. Students will learn new vocabulary and expand grammar knowledge through reading and discussion. During the class students will complete various exercises including but not limited to written assignments, online board vocabulary exercises, conversation memorizing and translation of the txts. Week 1 Motion verbs. Theme:travelling Week 2 Review: Motion verbs. Theme:travelling Week 3 Verbs: reflexive verbs Theme: free time Week 4 Review: Verbs: reflexive verbs Theme: free time Week 5 Singular nouns, personal pronouns : gen. Theme: what is it that you do not have Week 5. New prepositions, verbs, pronouns Theme: Hotels and travelling Week 6 Review of : New prepositions, verbs, pronouns Theme: Hotels and travelling Week 7 Motion verbs Theme: A perfect vacation Week 8 Review: Motion verbs Theme: A perfect vacation Week 9 Review of grammar and vocabulary. The curriculum is a subject to a change, depending on students interests and personal requests as well as learning differences. But overall we will try to stay within the curriculum. Hi, My name is Vlada and I teach Russian language from US.
I was born and Russia and spend half of my life in there. I have gotten classical education in one of the oldest European Universities in Russia.
I have lived in US for 15 years and I love teaching Russian to my students.
I come from a family of teachers and early childhood educators.I would love to share my methods of teaching the Russian language to kids through play, fun and association.
Studies by Harvard University confirm that the creativity, critical thinking skills, and flexibility of the mind are significantly enhanced if children learn a second and a third language at a younger age. From zero to seven are believed to be a vital period in a child’s life. This is when the foundations for attitudes, thinking, and learning, among others, are laid down.
