Optional items: Sunglasses and a pretend microphone (you can use a kitchen spoon, plastic flower or anything to pretend to sing into)! These items just add to the fun of the class and are not mandatory to participate.

Students should know how to mute and unmute themselves or receive help from a parent.  Students have the option to stand up to move and sing with the Jack Hartman rhyming video and will need clear space in front of their screen area to dance in place.  Parental guidance is suggested during music and movement.
Two optional worksheets will be given in the classroom to continue learning at home.  Parental guidance may be necessary.
The use of Google slides and YouTube videos will not require a parent or student account as it will be used in screen-share mode only by Ms. V.  These resources are for the sole purpose of adding visuals and music to the lesson activities.  The google slides contain teacher-made pictures of animal & object rhyming words and lyrics to teacher-made rhyming songs that are visually colorful, fun and engaging. Parental Guidance is suggested.
