If a "Challenge" is not completed, we will work on understanding and completing the "Challenge" at the beginning of the next session. o The Roblox Studio Ambition Training B! (for intermediate students), will be an advanced Roblox group class that goes through the following programming concepts in the Lua programming language, in addition to the programming concepts covered in Roblox Studio Ambition Training A: • Instancing Objects in Lua • Tables in Lua • Data types in Lua • 3D mathematics concepts for game development (basic trigonometry, vectors, cFrames (Coordinate Frames), matrix multiplication) • Pathfinding libraries in Roblox Lua for creating basic AI’s • The Client-Server-Model as it relates to Roblox Studio o Again, the above programming concepts will not be learned in isolation. Here are some more example mini-projects students will create to learn the above concepts: • Creating a Rocket Launcher • Creating a Non Player Character that players can talk to • Creating a sword with multiple “attack” animations • Creating a canon • Creating a wand that can create different creatures • Creating an “Admin Commands” system • Creating a mini shop where players can purchase items • Creating a GUI that allows players to buy “Pets” from a shop • And more!
