In this class we will play a variety of Roblox games including: Bloxburg (building game) MM2 Arsenal Natural Disaster Survival Adopt Me Catalogue Avatar Creator Spray Paint (Graffiti game) Restaurant Tycoon Hello Kitty Restaurant Andy's Musical Chairs Breaking Point Laundry Simulator Retail Tycoon 2 Grapple People Simulator Funky Friday Royal High ...and more! AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH CLASS: Learners can cast votes on games to play. I will do my best to work in all votes before the end of camp! We rotate games every 10-20 minutes. These classes usually fly by! I welcome learners to show me their favorite games too!! We will aim to play on private servers as often as possible! IF YOU DON’T LIKE OUR GAME CHOICE: You are welcome to stay in the meeting, talk and hangout, you can play a different game on Roblox, and then jump back in with us at the start of the next game! Our ultimate goal is to stick together as best we can so I ask that if you skip a game you don't request the class to follow you. --- ***IMPORTANT ACCOUNT NOTE: LEARNERS MUST HAVE A ROBLOX ACCOUNT

Bloxburg Construction Game
BUILD LIFE SKILLS:
Live in the virtual town of Bloxburg. Build a home, go to work, interact with people, and live a virtual life!
DEVELOP A TALENT:
There are eight different talents you can develop: athletics, cooking, gaming, gardening, intelligence, music, painting, and writing. Receive a trophy when you reach level 10 in a talent!
CONSTRUCTION PRACTICE:
Many children are builders. Whether it be tent forts, legos, or more complex things within games. The set up for roblox and construction is simple but COMPLEX. There are seemingly endless options and opportunities to choose from. Construction is very enriching for a childs' growth:
-Development of their coordination and fine motor skills.
-Building helps them learn geometrical shapes, colors, sizes and spatial concepts.
-Stimulates skills such as concentration, attention, creativity and imagination.
-Practice requires planning/inventing a scheme or model to follow. If played within a group, the child can also learn about cooperation and teamwork.
-They promote a child’s understanding of reality and they can also teach children about roles and functions when they play with other children.
-Helps children familiarize themselves with the laws of physics such as gravity and balance.
-Building can help increase a child’s self-esteem and confidence. When they achieve certain objectives and see that their effort is appreciated, this will make them proud and motivated to excel.
-It promotes organization

My education includes high school, trade school (nurse aide), personal training certification (self study/tested out), I then attended college and completed both my bachelor (B.S. in Religious Psychology) and masters degree (Public Health, minor in Promotion). I hope to continue my education. I aspire to use my education and experience to educate your darling children.
Experience…
I have been teaching online (various platforms) since 2018 and I have been teaching in person since high school - from pre-k to 12th grade to adults and adults with intellectual disabilities. I absolutely love the opportunity to educate and inspire my students to WANT to learn.
In the classroom...
I value kindness in the classroom, I am gentle, I think participation from all learners is incredibly important, and learning a variety of ways makes an experience invaluable (verbal, hands on, and any other way we can!). I hope to be engaging and fun but also offer knowledge that inspires 'seeking' and dreaming, like I have found in my life.
Fun fact...
Something fun and personal about me: I have travelled and lived all over the United States as well as the Dominican Republic and Guatemala. I was born in Hawaii and have experienced HOT weather of over 100 degrees (help!) as well as COLD (brrrrr!) below 0 degrees. I have also had many many different kinds of pets including exotic ones! It has been so fun. Ask me about them sometime. (=
