This is a beginning to read course where students will learn basic reading skills that will accompany them on their reading journey. The following is an outline of the lesson: • Letter name and sound warm up drill • Learning and practicing a Science of Reading aligned method of mapping sounds • Practicing this new skill while learning to read CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) words This is a one on one class, so once the lesson begins, instruction will be tailored to your learner's needs.
