Over the past 20+ years, she has immersed herself in the Spanish language and culture, achieving a level of fluency that allows her to read and speak Spanish without an English accent, showcasing her dedication and commitment to mastering the language.
With her firsthand experience as a non-native Spanish speaker, our curriculum creator understands the challenges and complexities that English speakers encounter when learning Spanish, enabling her to weave in explanations of concepts effectively to English-speaking learners. Leveraging insights from her own language learning journey, she offers valuable strategies to help students overcome obstacles and reach their language goals.
Since 2020, our curriculum creator has been teaching Spanish classes virtually, witnessing significant growth in her students' language abilities. Many started with minimal Spanish knowledge and, by the end of the school year, gained confidence in reading and engaging in basic conversations in Spanish.
