The goal of this class is to build confidence while engaging in reading strategies, phonics, reading with expression or as the author intended (fluency), and comprehension skills.

I am National Board Certified in Literacy PreK-12th grade  and earned my Master’s in Curriculum & Instruction: In the Area of Reading I  have 26 years of teaching experience PreK-12th grade. I have been a Reading Specialist for the past 15 years working with gifted students, struggling readers, and students with Dyslexia. I provide one on one instruction in the area of literacy and small group reading. As a Literacy Coach, I worked with teachers in my school district on best practices for teaching literacy across the curriculum. Please see my credentials attached to my profile.
