Curious about your child's reading level?

In this quick assessment, your child's reading level will be determined using DIBELS. Through this test, I will be able to tell you your child's instructional reading level to help you know if they are reading at, below or above grade level.

What does my child's DIBELS score mean?
A student's scores on the DIBELS measures give the school information about whether or not a student is on. track for grade-level reading success. A school can quickly identify students who do not meet the goals on each DIBELS measure and provide extra help.

In our time together, your child will read word lists to determine what level passage to be tested on. If they are in Pre-K, Kindergarten, or 1st grade, I will also assess them on their letter identification and letter sound knowledge. Then I will send you a one page report with your child's scores as well as their reading level.

There's nothing to prepare or bring. 

You'll receive your child's reading level within 24 hours of testing.

*Please note, this class may run shorter than 20 minutes. It depends on when I have all the information needed to find your child's reading level.
