Although I choose books I feel are appropriate for all students, I appreciate everyone has differing thoughts and values. Therefore, I do encourage you to please visit commonsense media or another outlet to make sure you feel the books are appropriate for your child. If your child is enrolled in the class, that is your acceptance of the book for your student to read. In my classes I like to utilize technology such a Nearpod or Gimkit so that each learner has multiple ways to engage and interact with the lesson and others in the class.
