In each class, we will learn different vocal warm-ups that will help students feel confident and prepared to speak and read in front of an audience. Then, we will move into working with the day's script, practicing our lines to increase fluency and emotion and discussing the content as we work together to create a lively rendition of the day's story. From week to week, students will gain confidence as well as accumulate strategies they can use in other classes to improve their reading fluency, comprehension, and public speaking skills.

All are welcome! The scripts we will be using in class are at a first to second grade reading level, but the small class size allows me to work individually with any students who might need extra support.
