In this 1:1 session, the student will read to my therapy dog, Max. Students will bring their own book, and they will practice their fluency while reading to Max. Reading to animals has been proven to help increase fluency and comprehension among early readers. Reading to an animal friend can help build a reader's confidence and self-esteem, and this is particularly important for younger readers
Students must bring their own books.
