Public Speaking is a skill that is very important for everyone to be able to do successfully in their every day lives. Yet, it is something that is very scary for many children, I want to teach it through games and activities to help them build their confidence and their skills at the same time! This is a beginner's public speaking class, and there is no prior knowledge required, just an eagerness to learn! Homework is minimal for this class, occasionally I may ask your student to watch a speech or short video, maybe complete a worksheet outside of class, or read something given in class. The only required homework for all sessions of this course is a short 5-7 minute speech your child will prepare for our final class meetings.
