This class is for students that have been playing the violin or viola for at least one year. Please let me know what your goal for this lesson is. This may be learning a specific piece of music, a certain technique, or simply improving your playing. If you do not have a specific goal, Dr. Ana Maria may work with the student to make sure that the fundamentals are in place, such as proper bow hold, violin hold, and left-hand shape, in order to play more efficiently and with less risk of injury. She does this because bad habits are difficult to break if they go unchecked for a long time.
