In each class we will start off with a quick sound check where we will make sure instruments are in tune and ready to go. We will then practice our assigned music and make any necessary corrections to fingerings, notes, and rhythm. After we have practiced and reviewed our music, we will go over the assigned workbook activities to make sure we are getting a good foundation in theory as well. I will mostly be guiding the student through each activity, allowing them to try first before giving correction. Since this is a music class, the student will be doing the majority of the work while I facilitate and keep us on track.
