This class is for students of any ability level, who would benefit from one-on-one instruction tailored to their particular artistic goals.  Lessons focusing on practicing particular skills and techniques will be created with parent/learner input-- or lessons from any other class in Ms. Kristy's catalogue may be chosen!  

In our first set of lessons, we could use animals as our subject, to practice the following drawing-from-observation techniques:
Lesson 1:   Simplification & gesture drawing
Lesson 2:   Using negative space
Lesson 3:   Adding shading & texture
Lesson 4:   Creating depth using linear perspective

Regardless of subject, each lesson will be guided drawing, step-by-step, with plenty of checks for understanding.  The student will be encouraged to give their input, and to help Ms. Kristy create lessons that they will find engaging and helpful to their goals!
