I have an associate's degree in Arabic, and was trained to be fluent in it during my time in the military. I attended one of the best language schools there is, the Defense Language Institute, where students are trained to fluency in a language in less than two years. I scored the maximum score possible for a non-native speaker on the Arabic proficiency test, and have spent time in Morocco.

* For reading assignments, the number of pages will vary depending on the level of the class. In the beginning stages, learners may be expected to read shorter passages or texts of around 1-2 pages. As the course progresses, the length of assigned readings may increase to approximately 3-5 pages. The focus is on gradual progression and comprehension rather than the quantity of pages.
