Ever wonder how to help your struggling reader? You know they need help with "reading" but don't know where to start? 
In this private assessment session, I screen your child for reading difficulties in the foundational areas of reading using Research based industry tests (DIBELS, CORE PHONICS, ACADIENCE):

- Phonemic Awareness (blending, segmenting sounds in words)
- Letter names/ sounds
- Decoding skills
- RAN (Rapid Automatic Naming tests)

After testing, I will discuss next steps you can implement right away to help your reader. You will receive the full written testing report within 24 hours. The report will also contain recommendations for curriculum, tutoring, and recommendations to share with a teacher (if applicable).

I recognize that testing can have a negative connotation and be stressful for our kiddos, which is why I strive to make this session a low-key, low-stakes environment. We will chat for a few minutes in the beginning and "warm-up" with a sharing activity. Most of the time, the students view the test session as playing "word games", which is how I present the different tests!
