This one-on-one class is open to students with a range of musical backgrounds and skill levels. I aim to create a relaxed, safe, and encouraging learning environment. Whether you're picking up your instrument for the first time or continuing a journey you've been on for years, these private lessons will equip you with the tools, skills, and knowledge to play your favorite styles of music.

Parents of young students, it's very helpful if you can assist your child in tuning their guitar or bass right before the lesson to maximize the time spent on learning and playing.

Some Topics Covered: Basic instrument knowledge and care, learning to read and recognize musical symbols and tools, absolute, fundamental proper posture and technique, picking and fingering styles, the material presented by me, and material and music you, the learner, wish to focus on.

Class Structure: We will review prior knowledge and older material (if applicable), introduce new material and exercises, and practice the new material. 
I follow the "I do, we do, you do" format.

Learners are encouraged to ask as many questions as they need to ensure clear and concise delivery of information. The more at ease a student feels, the more they tend to enjoy and retain!
