During this class we start off with a warm-up and stretch our bodies, we will also do some cardio and learn some hip-hop moves for about 7-10 minutes. We will then learn choreography to an upbeat dance routine. (25 -30 minutes) During class we will have a couple breaks that include about 5 minutes to learn what it takes to be like a real princess and about 5 minutes to make a craft at the end of class. We will be making a mermaid tail snack holder so make sure to check out the supply list...
Your child will learn basic movements of hip hop and movement. This song is upbeat and fun. The goal of this class is to get the student excited about dance, move around and exercise, learn something new and learn a full routine by the end of the class!
I have been teaching for 19 years in several styles of dance for all ages. I have danced professionally including Walt Disney World, The Orlando Magic (NBA) Dance Team, Carnival Cruise Lines and more. I have directed many dance teams and have judged at competitions and professional dance and cheer team auditions. My passion is to help others be their best! I am passionate, caring and fun and look forward to meeting your child!
