미국 등급 Preschool - Kindergarten
At Quantum Montessori, we understand that every learner is unique and learns differently, and that is why our class is tailored to meet the individual needs and interests of the learner. We believe that by creating a supportive and heart-centered learning environment, we can help learners thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. With this in mind, we strive to assist learners in achieving the following learning goals:

1. Develop Positive Social Skills: Learners work on how to cooperate, communicate effectively, and respect their peers in a virtual learning environment. They will also learn to value the diverse backgrounds and perspectives of their pod mates.

2. Develop Self-Government/Regulation and Independence: Learners will learn how to manage their own learning and become more self-sufficient. They will learn to take responsibility for their work, manage their time effectively, and seek help when needed.

3. Foster a Love for Learning: In our learning pod, our top priority is to inspire a love for learning in our learners. We believe that when children are engaged and passionate about their education, they develop a lifelong love for learning that will stay with them throughout their lives.

4. Develop Critical Thinking Skills: Learners will be challenged to think critically, problem-solve, and make decisions independently. They will also develop their creativity and learn to approach tasks in different ways.

5. Build a Strong Foundation in STEAM: Through a combination of Montessori and STEAM-based activities, children will develop an understanding of science, technology, engineering, art, and math concepts. They will learn to apply these skills in real-world scenarios.

6. Cultivate Empathy and Compassion: Learners will have opportunities to learn about and empathize with people from different cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives. They will also participate in community service projects to develop a sense of compassion and responsibility towards others.

7. Encourage a Healthy Lifestyle: Learners will learn about the importance of physical and mental health through age-appropriate activities and discussions. They will be encouraged to make healthy choices and develop healthy habits.

8. Develop Digital Literacy Skills: In today's digital age, it is important for learners to develop digital literacy skills. They will learn how to navigate and use technology safely and responsibly.

9. Encourage a Love for Nature: Learners will have opportunities to learn about the environment and develop an appreciation for nature. They will learn about sustainability, conservation, and taking care of the planet.

10. Foster a Growth Mindset: Learners will be encouraged to adopt a growth mindset and believe that they can develop their abilities through effort and practice. They will learn to embrace challenges and view mistakes as learning opportunities.

Ms. Jessica, EC & EL Montessori Guide

👋 Hello! My name is Jessica Robertson and I am thrilled to be a part of the early childhood and elementary education community as a Montessori guide. I have always been passionate about working with young children and I have dedicated my career to providing high-quality education and support to students.

I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Early Childhood Education Pre-K through 4th grade and a Master's of Science in Educational Leadership. In addition, I also have a specialization in working with students on the autism spectrum, which has been a valuable asset in my teaching journey.

I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of students, including those with autism, ADHD, ADD, and personality disorders. Through my experience, I have learned the importance of creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all learners. I believe that every child has unique strengths and abilities, and it is my job as an educator to tap into those strengths and help them reach their full potential.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in the Montessori approach, which allows children to learn at their own pace and in a hands-on, individualized way. I strongly believe in promoting independence, critical thinking, and creativity in my students. I strive to create a safe and nurturing learning environment where children can explore and discover their interests and talents.

I am beyond excited to continue my journey as an educator and inspire young minds in their learning journey. It is my goal to foster a love for learning, and I am committed to providing a fun, stimulating, and enriching experience for my students. I cannot wait to bring my passion, knowledge, and expertise to the classroom and make a positive impact on the lives of my students. Together, let's create a bright and promising future for our children!

🎉 We are delighted to introduce you to one of your educators and Quantum Montessori™ founder, Ms. Ashleigh Stevens, a Early Childhood Montessori Guide, Elementary Montessori Guide, STEM educator, and homeschool mom to three children.

Thank you for taking the time to explore our profile. We eagerly anticipate you joining us on your learning journey. I founded the Quantum Montessori Institute with a team of outstanding educators and leaders. I wanted parents to feel empowered to educate their children from home confidently, while also working, running a business, living an RV lifestyle, traveling the world, or simply seeking a hybrid learning environment. My passion for Montessori has led me to work with a diverse group of youth. My aim is to ensure an equitable experience, one that equally prioritizes the wellbeing of the child, parents, and educators.
