This ongoing course focuses on teaching learners the skills necessary to be successful on ELA assessments. I will be using various state tests from archived examinations for grades five and six. These could include Common Core assessments or standardized entrance exam tests. I have a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and a Master's Degree in Special Education. I have two New York State certifications in English Language Arts and Students with Disabilities. I have over ten years experiencing assisting students in being successful on Common Core assessments. I have also been a member of the grading teams of ELA Assessments so I am familiar with what scorers are looking for from the test taker.
