First, each student will have a chance to introduce themselves so we can get to know one another.

Then, we will read The Polar Express together. As we’re reading, I will stop periodically to discuss and ask questions so students can practice their reading skills. During this time, students can participate by raising their hands or typing in the private chat. 

After we’re done reading, we will complete The First Gift of Christmas Inferencing activity. I will be reading clues about the gifts. The students will use their schema to make an inference on what the gift is. Again, students can participate by raising their hand or typing in the chat.
