수업 소개
In this one-time class we will make a Pikachu origami corner bookmark. Students will be guided step-by-step in a simple craft that has seriously adorable results. The students will also be able to socialize and discuss all things Pokémon with other Pokémon crazy kids. Minimal supplies are needed and all skill levels are welcome. Kids will also have the opportunity to share their finished project and share any other Pokémon goodies they would like. My class setting is a relaxed, fun, open space for students to be able to discuss and express their thoughts about what we are learning. I encourage student interaction with not only myself but with their fellow classmates. Everyone is expected to be respectful and listen to one another but also feel like they have the ability to share their own thoughts and opinions. I believe learning should be fun and try to provide a space for that to happen.
학습 목표
Kids will learn how to make a simple Pokémon Pikachu bookmark, while learning how to follow directions. They will have the ability show their creations and provide positive feedback to their classmates. They will learn and share about Pokémon and have a great time.

Hi! I love to teach classes that are fun and promote discussion and creativity. In all of my classes I mix critical thinking with out of the box thinking so that the kids learn something brand new! I find the best way to do this is by using books, video games, trivia and other interactive components to keep them engaged and wanting to learn.
My passion for critical thought stems from my degree in Philosophy. The integration of pop culture in my classes is rooted in a lifetime of toy collecting, video game playing, and during my time as a staff writer for an online comic book review site. Over the past five years I have created community-based, pop-up craft classes for parents and children that integrate culture and thought, and I am excited about the opportunity to share these types of activities with my students!
Outside of teaching I enjoy spending time with my husband, son, two cats and puppy! I love online gaming and spending a lot of time crafting.리뷰
