수업 소개
This class will include a close reading of Walt Whitman's famous poem, "I hear America Singing." Students will study repetition as a poetic tool and discuss the style of the poem, as well as some history surrounding the work. Then students will transition to applying some of the themes of the poem to our modern era and writing poetry in honor of all those that are "singing" in our current world.
