수업 소개
Students will meet weekly for guided instruction and question/answer time. Lesson 1: How to use graph paper to plan a garden. Students will be shown show to find their gardening "zone." Students will be given gardening resource ideas and also asked for their input--we can learn from one another! Lesson 2: Students will identify plants that work best for each student's zone (group activity). There is an in-class sketching activity. Group shares and discusses the sketches. Students are encouraged to message questions to the teacher or to post in the class forum.

As a second-generation homeschooler, I value to individual nature of each child. Cultivating skills/hobbies they enjoy while young helps children become more confident in their work!
Prior to having children, I worked for a professional show dog handler for 5 years, taught swimming, lifeguarding, workplace first aid, and dog training classes. My degree is in Humanities with an emphasis in Modern Languages and Journalism. I was an intern at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in the "Planned Giving" department. I volunteered for the National Park Service for 5 years, earning the Presidential Student Service Award. After having children, my career course shifted. I started an All-Breed dog club in California (it is still active today) and got more involved raising and showing fancy guinea pigs. I've raised cavies (guinea pigs) for about 32 years. Genetics is a hobby of mine! I'm also an online ESL teacher and certified by TEFL and TOFL.
Philosophy: I know that a broad education base with allowance for personal interests and creativity helps set your students up for SUCCESS. Encourage your kids to follow their dreams but set them up with knowledge and skills that translate into jobs.리뷰
