Children will form a concrete and abstract understanding of the place values of ones, tens, hundreds, and thousands. This will be taught through Montessori materials and teaching methods. The teacher will be introducing the children to place value by using hands-on materials that you will be able to print off at home! Meghan is the founder of World Montessori Academy, as well as having her MACTE Montessori Teacher training and Registered Early Childhood Educator. She has a warm and welcoming nature. Meghan actually went to Montessori when she was little! She fell in love that knew that when she grew up that she wanted to become a Montessori teacher... and look where we are now! Her dream came true and she can't wait to share her love of Montessori with you and your children! Chandra is an AMS Montessori-trained teacher and is also a Registered Early Childhood Educator. Over the past 22 years, she has been working with children in a Montessori setting, both as a lead teacher and principal. She has a sound understanding of child development and educational practices. Her goal as an educator is to spark interest, feed the hunger for knowledge, and excite the natural curiosity of each student she works with. All of the Montessori classes from World Montessori Academy are taught by certified, trained Montessori teachers. This ensures that you are receiving the best, authentic Montessori experience for your child. When looking for Montessori classes, please make sure that the teacher has one of the following trainings/certifications: MACTE, AMI, AMS.
