Photoshop is the archetypal digital art and graphic design program and remains one of the best photo editing programs-- and now you can use a free version, Photopea.com! Photoshop is an amazingly powerful and fun tool for artists and graphic designers. Beginners and Procreate users welcome! We will some of the Photoshop basic skills in this class: the clone stamp tool and lighting adjustments. I have provided some photos to edit, but students may use their own instead.  

My goal is to create a fun, creative learning environment where students can comfortably learn about Photoshop, bring their imagination to life, and share their digital art with one another.

It is easier for students to share what they are doing and get help if Photoshop or Photopea is being used on the same computer running Zoom.

We will begin with introductions and an explanation of the course. We will learn about: Making a file, Saving files, Opening files, Adjusting lighting in a photo, and using the clone stamp tool. I will show you how each tool works using the share screen function in Zoom. Students having any trouble have the option to share their screen for help. Each student should finish fixing their photo by the end of the class. 

Students are encouraged to bring their own damaged family photo to fix, but I will provide one in the class forum if there isn't one available.
