This class is to help students learn to read r-controlled vowel words. We will start with the sound of the week and practice hearing the sounds in words with that spelling. We will move on to writing and reading words, such as car, bird, turn, fern, and corn. We will have fun learning and playing a game together. The students should have a whiteboard to write their words on. This is the easiest way for them to do it, but if needed, paper and pencil will be fine.
