In this ongoing class, we will learn a new consonant sound, vowel sound, or 2 word families every time we meet. These are skills typically taught in the first semester of Kindergarten. In each class, we will practice the sound at the beginning, middle and/or end of words. We will do listening (phonemic awareness) and reading/writing (phonics) practice.
