Do you have a K-2 student that would like a little extra help in a particular subject or content area? As a former classroom teacher, reading specialist and Literacy coach to K-2 teachers, I would love to offer my expertise in one on one tutoring for the primary student. With background knowledge in all subject areas, I can offer personalized instruction and resources to help your student enjoy learning, find success and improve in the areas that they might need a little more guidance in. Please message me with your student's needs and we can create a one time session (or consecutive sessions) to help your student in the area/subject you are seeking. I am happy to customize the session to your schedule and frequency that it is offered. I can't wait to create something just for you!

Hello & welcome to Outschool! My name is Suzi and I'm excited to share a bit about myself.
I am a former elementary school teacher turned homeschooling mom. I have a background in Literacy education and find joy in teaching new things and helping students discover their interests through content and instruction. I think it's important to engage students through storytelling, example and hands on experiences.
As a teacher, I've taught everything from pre-school through high school grades and across all content areas. My favorite subjects to teach are history and math and I have a serious love of language and how to use it, whether it be through writing, speaking or problem solving.
My family and I live in Wisconsin. We have 3 children and 3 dogs and are originally from the East Coast...but are starting to realize we're destined to be midwesterners! My oldest is in her first year at The United States Military Academy at West Point, my middle is a junior in high school and my youngest is a freshman. I hope to see you in class soon!
