Do you love Greek Mythology? Do you wish you had Percy's water powers or Annabeth's intelligence? In this class you can test your knowledge of "The Lightning Thief" book and movie by playing a fun trivia game with other learners. Students will use the internet quiz site, quizizz, to play a self-paced, point earning trivia game created by the teacher. Students will interact with me and other students through group discussion and Zoom's chat feature. 

Class Structure:
- Students will meet one another and participate in an ice breaker at the beginning of class. Rules and procedures will be established.
- Students will join the prepared trivia game and begin a self-paced, trivia game on quizizz in which they answer multiple choice questions about the book.
- Game: Students gain points based correct answers and the speed at which they answer. They will have access to power ups that can earn more points or award them an advantage. Students can ask for help via chat and talk with other students and the teacher while playing. The top three scorers will be displayed on the leader board.
- Post Game: After celebrating each player's efforts, we will discuss the most missed questions (individual students will not be called out for wrong answers).
