Students will build on what they learned in the first version of this course and create another eye-catching hexaflexagon (hexa-hexaflexagon) puzzle craft while learning basic geometry and artistic principles in this STEM/STEAM-inspired class. This class will be taught using Google Slides, discussion, and hands-on learning. We will cover basic geometry by looking at and exploring the properties of a tri-hexaflexagon vs. a hexa-hexaflexagon, we will also cover the possibilities of mapping...
Students will improve their understanding of geometry and the terms that are used to describe geometric shapes, while also learning more about design and art principles. Students will also grow their creative problem-solving skills, as well as their hand-eye skills and their communication skills.
