During this class, students will learn fun facts about the country of Haiti and how to paint a Haitian Art piece. Students will learn the common elements present in Haitian Art and create a painting of their own using a provided template. I will guide the students through the process of transferring their images to canvas for painting (through pre-class video) and model how to apply the paint to complete the painting. I have been a professional self-taught Haitian artist working in acrylic for the last 19 years. I was an educator in a brick motor school for 8 years teaching grades 3-8 in all subjects. I have homeschooled, my 4 children, for the last 10 years while teaching online classes for the last three years.
