수업 경험

Students will understand what anxiety means, what's happening in the brain when we feel anxiety, and empowering tips to be able to conquer anxiety. Students will learn how to use the tools given when they are feeling anxiety. 
I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor/elementary school social worker. I have a Master's Degree in Social Work and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker license, along with a School Social Worker License. I have been teaching children about mental health for four years, and I love helping kids learn ways to manage their emotions!

There is no formal assessment for this class, but students are encouraged to participate, share, and practice the tools we learn.

For the second meeting, students will need to print out a handout that will be given and bring coloring supplies. If students do not have a printer, they can draw their own boy or girl to color. 
For the third and fourth meetings, students will need a blank piece of paper and coloring supplies. 
A one-page handout will be provided at the end of the class on the classroom page to remind students what they have learned
