주당 2-4시간. Each week, I will post to the classroom a list of 3-7 questions (one for each video) due the following Sunday. There will also be a list of 2-5 research topics or projects, and each student will choose one that interests them. Answers for the research topics only have to be a paragraph or two. This is also due on Sunday of each week. Final class project will be to design (draw or construct) a roller coaster based on American History.학습 평가

Welcome to U.S. History through the eyes of its Presidents! In this class, we will take an in-depth look at the personal history, education, career, triumphs, failures, and impact of each of our American Presidents. My goal for this class is for students to have a better understanding of the diverse leadership that our country has had - their backgrounds, achievements, and even scandals. As this class touches on political issues, each student is expected to conduct themselves in a manner that is respectful and polite. This class will be taught through recorded lectures and may also include supplemental videos (Youtube), readings, worksheets, and activities (recipes, movies, dioramas, experiments, etc.). Please see the syllabus below for a layout of the lessons included in this course. This class is presented in an asynchronous format. If you are taking this class through the Class Subscriptions, there will be no communication between learner and myself. If you are taking this class through the Self-Paced format, you will have 1 year to complete the lessons. If you choose to submit homework or communicate (questions on the classroom page), I will respond within 24 hours (excluding Sundays).

In this class, we will be walking through U.S. History. Topics such as discrimination, war, slavery, and death will be covered. All discussions of such topics will be at an age appropriate level.
This class will utilize Youtube videos for sharing of lecture videos, as well as supplemental lessons. All Youtube videos are embedded into the Outschool platform.
