This class blends social play with rich vocabulary practice, making it a perfect fit for students with busy schedules.

Example Word Ladder: plane → plan → pan → pen → men → met → jet

How it Works:

1. We begin with a starting word and read the first clue aloud.
2. I’ll select a student to share the answer aloud and read the next clue to keep the game moving!
3. Once we reach the top of the ladder, we’ll discuss the connection between the starting and ending words and explore sorting the words by parts of speech, rhymes, opposites, definitions, and more (as time allows).

✨Familiarity with the chat feature is essential for sharing answers and participating.
✨Alternatively, students may use a dry-erase board to write and share responses.
