Students will begin with vocal warm-ups. During the warm-ups, I will instruct them on how to use proper technique and I will assess their range. Next, we will work on a song in the style they choose. I will help them work on a specific song that they choose and can help guide them toward a choice that fits their voice type and range. If the student is preparing for a performance or audition, I am happy to help them prepare. I have worked with all ages and abilities in a variety of settings...
I have taught in public schools, private studio, and music academies for 20 years.
Students need to have a copy of the music they want to work on and the accompaniment track. You can forward this to me as well. I highly recommend finding this on www.musicnotes.com. When you purchase songs on the website and download their app, students will have access to both the music and accompaniment track.
