This class was created to empower girls and create a sisterhood. The small class size will give learners an opportunity to be heard and feel comfortable expressing themselves. 

Students will...
- play a variety of Roblox games.
- socialize and meet new friends.
- share their Roblox username with the class.

This is an ongoing class, but I also offer this as a one-time class. If you are interested in the one time class and have trouble finding it, please feel free to send a message and I will be happy to send the link.

I will enter the names of learners onto a spin wheel. The learner that the wheel lands on will be the learner that will game, will be chosen fairly. Learners will play several games in each class unless the class decides as a group that they want to play one game. 

At Miss Brandy's Fun and Learning Academy we have a strict NO BULLYING rule. We believe that it is crucial for learners to have a safe space free from bullying and judgment. We expect learners to respect each other and be kind to their classmates at all times. We will not tolerate bullying in any form. However, we will give students an opportunity to correct their behavior before they are removed from class.


Behavior issues are handled as follows:
1. A verbal warning will be given to the student.
2. Student will be placed in a waiting room or break room (depending on the severity). The teacher will chat or have a verbal discussion with the student and student will be allowed to return to class. 

***Students will need to a have a Roblox account prior to attending class to participate. Students will need to have experience playing Roblox games as well. If your learner needs help learning how to play Roblox, I would be happy to do a one on one session with your learner. ***

I will play with students and monitor the game closely.
Students may use another device (i.e. Xbox, I pad, a different laptop or a cellphone)  to play Roblox but if another device is not available students may use one device for zoom and gameplay. I am aware that video access may be limited when using one device, for that reason I will ask for video check ins between games. Learners using one device should remain on video. LEARNERS ARE REQUIRED TO STAY ON ZOOM FOR THE ENTIRE CLASS.

I have a strict NO BULLYING rule. I think that it is extremely important for learners to have a safe space free from bullying and judgment. I expect learners to respect each other and be kind to theirs classmates at all times. I will not tolerate bullying in any form. However, I will give students a chance to correct their behavior. Below is a list of steps that I will take when unkind behavior is witnessed or heard. 
1. Warning,  Ex: I will remind the student that in my class, we must be kind to each other at all times. 
2. I will put the student in the waiting room or a break out room and send a message or speak to them emphasizing the importance of being kind and warn that the next time that I have to speak to him/her/them, I will have to remove him/her/them. I will then, allow them to return to class and give a chance to change the behavior.
3. Removal from class ( there will be no refund or transfer to another class)
