- Each week learning goals change based on the Learning Topic of the Week.
- Generally speaking regardless of learning topics, students will develop interpersonal communication skills (empathy, active listening skills, emotional intelligence development, collaborative thinking and teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, etc). Strong interpersonal skills will help children in all aspects of life, including animal-related careers should they take that route later.

I am an Animal Scientist after graduating NC State in 2010 with a Bachelors Degree in Pre-Vet Animal Science with a minor in Agriculture Business Management, Equine Performance Anatomy and Exercise Physiology, and concentrations in Emergency Work, Biology, and Physiology. I began my vet work in 2004. I studied the Equine Industry throughout Europe and Ireland and conducted a long-term research equine project at North Carolina State University. I taught equine coursework at the collegiate level. I am prepared for this course.

Most content will come from the brain of the teacher as taught by North Carolina State University (per my degree).
