20-minute tutoring sessions are a great option for students who struggle with attention, have a busy schedule, or who want to try out ELA tutoring before signing-up for my 45-minute sessions. I highly recommend 20-minute sessions for most students under the age of 10.

Before your child's first tutoring session, please message me with a description of what they need help with. Is it a specific assignment? Are they struggling with sight words? Do they need help organizing an essay? Do they need to study for a reading comprehension quiz?

I will create a plan for the tutoring session to meet your child's specific needs. I like to use worksheets and play games that grow reading and writing skills. When your child needs help with a specific assignment, we review their teacher's instructions together, make a plan for how they will complete the assignment, and start working on it together.
