Welcome to camp! Students will listen to two or three different Nutcracker stories each class as well as learn short dances together! From the traditional story of the ballet to a dog who visits dancers backstage, you won't get tired of this classic holiday tale from a variety of characters. After storytime, students will enjoy a song from the ballet, and then have a chance to dance together before we say goodbye. The music and style of dance will vary from classical music to jazz and hip hop...
Please have a clear space for your dancer to move safely. Please be aware of any limitations for your student and take appropriate precautions for safety. Also, water nearby may be helpful. Dancers may wear ballet shoes, jazz shoes, or bare feet.
