This is a 8 week class where the students will read through chapters of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets each week. Each class we will be discussing the chapters we read, going over vocabulary for the chapters and answering discussion questions. Each student will need a copy of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets deals with magic and Harry trying to figure out how he fits in the wizarding world. There are chapters with giant spiders and snakes that may be scary for some children. There are multiple children throughout the book that get petrified (frozen) but the main characters and the teachers work towards finding out why and getting them back to normal.
