In this 4 week flex class (no live meetings), students will learn and review what a noun, verb and adjective is.  I will present a PowerPoint presentation (in a pre-recorded lesson that will be in the classroom). Students will need to write down the definitions and examples that I will provide. I will give them multiple examples of each term to help them understand the differences. 
After class, they will play a review game on Kahootz. I will provide them the link! There will be 10 different words and they will have to pick the right answers. Is it a noun, verb or adjective? We did a similar game when I was an aide in a 7th grade class for review and they loved it! 
I can see their results and know what we need to work on. They will also need to participate in discussions in the classroom. I will have review questions for them and they will need to post their answers in the discussions. They will also need to provide a video explaining to me their answers to the questions. Ex. Jack plays with his black dog, (name the noun(s), verb and adjective)

Week 2- Quick review of the terms (pre-recorded lesson). I will also review the answers from the discussion questions as well as review the videos sent in by the students.
After class, they will play Kahootz and will be quizzed on a new set of 10 words. They will also have to answer the new review questions in the discussion as well as send in a video explaining their answers.

Week 3- Another quick review of the terms (pre-recorded lesson). I will again review the answers from the discussion questions as well as review the videos sent in by the students.
After class, they will play Kahootz and will be quizzed on a new set of 10 words. They will also have to answer the new review questions in the discussion as well as send in a video explaining their answers.

Week 4- One last quick review of the terms (pre-recorded lesson). I will again review the answers from the discussion questions as well as review the videos sent in by the students.
After class, they will play a final game on Kahootz and will be quizzed on 10 final words.
